Stop losing cattle and money.

Set your boundary once. herdID tells you and your workers the moment cattle leave it or are taken, so you can act in time.

What cattle cost you today

Theft

Animals are taken at night or while herders are away, and by the time you find out they are far away.

Straying

Cattle wander onto a neighbour's land, and you pay compensation for every trespass.

Unnoticed illness

A sick animal goes unseen until it is seriously ill or has passed the illness to others.

How herdID works on your farm

  1. We tag your herd

Each animal gets a tag that is hard to remove or tamper with, and is registered to you.

  2. Your boundary is set

When you join, your farm boundary is set in the system.

  3. You get alerts

If an animal crosses the boundary or is taken, you and your workers are alerted at the same time.

Your dashboard: the whole herd on one screen

Every farm gets its own dashboard, showing the three things that matter most.

  • Real-time count. How many animals are on the farm right now.
  • Health monitoring. Each animal's temperature, with high readings flagged.
  • Live location. Where each animal is, and who has left the boundary.

A report you can act on

Not everyone can watch a screen all day. Get a daily or weekly report that tells you what happened across your herd.

Health

How many animals had a high temperature, and which ones.

Boundary

How many animals strayed or went out of range, and when.

Security and movement

Any animals taken, and a summary of how the herd moved.

What you get

Alerts that reach everyone

You and your workers get the same alert together, so whoever is nearest can respond.

Fewer trespass payments

Know the moment cattle cross the boundary and bring them back before they cause damage. If a neighbour makes a claim, the location history shows where your cattle were.

Early warning of illness

Each tag reads the animal's temperature, so an unwell animal is flagged early and can be checked and separated.

Count without counting

See how many animals you have at any time, without walking the herd.

Proof of ownership

Every animal has a digital record in your name, which helps when ownership is disputed.

A record buyers can trust

The animal's owners and movements are on record, which gives buyers confidence when you sell.

Use the insights to make informed decisions for your ranch.

Questions farmers ask

Do I get a dashboard and reports?

Yes. Every farm gets a dashboard with the live count, health and location of each animal, plus a daily or weekly report.

Can I keep health and vet records on it?

Not yet. Health records, vet notes, vaccinations, breeding history and feeding schedules are coming next.

Who receives the alerts?

You and your workers, at the same time.

Who sets the boundary?

Your boundary is set when you join and your herd is registered.

Does it need mobile network coverage?

Yes. Tags send their readings live, so they need network coverage to report. Tell us where your land is and we will discuss whether coverage is good enough.

Can someone remove the tag?

Tags use anti-tamper technology, so they are hard to remove or interfere with.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the size of your herd. Request a pilot and we will explain the options.
